How insurance works here
Mindful Counseling & Wellness, PLLC participates with insurance through Headway, a behavioral-health network that contracts with health plans on the clinician's behalf. That means in-network visits with a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, with billing handled for you.
- Accepted plans will be published once Headway credentialing completes.
- Specific per-visit cost and copay guidance is published once rates are issued.

So there are no surprises, we confirm your coverage and share up-front what to expect for any copay or out-of-pocket cost before your first appointment.
No insurance, or paying out of pocket?

Telehealth across North Carolina
All visits are by telehealth. Because a nurse practitioner must be licensed where the patient is physically located, you'll need to be in North Carolina for your visit.
